Obenauf's Leather Preservative

Maintain your firefighter leather equipment with Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP, an all-natural bees wax-based leather preservative that will restore and maintain all leather products.  Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative was originally developed to treat and condition wildland firefighter boots and is now brought to the structural firefighting service.  It's manufactured by a small family-owned Idahoan company.

Obenauf's LP melts from a paste form into a thin liquid when applied by hand - it  penetrates the surface of any leather product to drive deep into the core of the leather a mixture of natural oils to moisturize and condition the leather while the beeswax remains on the surface to repel water, acids, salts, and chemicals. 

This product can be used not only on your firefighter suspenders, radio straps, and other accessories, but also your structural firefighting and EMS boots.   Additionally Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP will work great on:

• Work boots
• Military boots
• Contractor tool belts
• Leather garments*

The 1oz size will treat a pair of leather suspenders 3-4 times.  Order the larger 4oz size if you're treating boots or other larger items.

*We strongly suggest trying a test spot when using Obenauf's LP on leather with a highly-finished surface such as designer handbags, designer garments, and most car and furniture upholstery.
